Trish’s Class: “Discover the Power Within You” based on the book by ERIC BUTTERWORTH. Thursday, May 15, 7:00PM: In addition to your own enhancement, the class is offered with Unity’s teacher’s credit. Books are available in the Book Nook. There will not be a class on May 22nd.

CHAPLAIN'S OPEN HEALING CIRCLE Tuesday, May 20, 7:00PM: Putting spiritual principles into practice and led by CAROLANN DESELMS, the Circle is open to anyone needing a healing or wanting to support someone in need of a healing.

TRISH'S 83RD BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AT THE AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC was fabulous! We met at tables located outside the aquarium where we enjoyed snacks and cake. Then we quickly headed indoors to the dive exhibit in the lobby area where a diver held up a sign under water which read "Happy 83rd Birthday, Trish" while we all sang "Happy Birthday". Needless to say, Trish was surprised! Everyone went on their way to different areas of the aquarium and Trish and Bob had a private tour led by Roxanne Jacobson's husband, Paul, who happens to be a docent of the aquarium. Thank you everyone for making Trish's birthday a fun celebration. Check out UCSB in pictures and view the Aquarium photos.

Our booknook is the only place, at this time, where you can find the inspirational "I AM..." mugs created by Phyllis Ford with spiritual instructions by Liberty Thyme. Each mug is named for one of the twelve powers with a coordinating affirmation on the reverse side. Phyllis has carefully designed the pictures, colors and flowers that are indicative of that power. Use the spiritual power written on the mug to visualize your goal. For example, "I am the Love of God in Action".
The Minder Mug series includes 12 mugs, each one offering two affirmations for the featured power along with a brochure with recommendations for use.

UNITY SOUTH BAY INTRODUCES "THE EMAIL CONNECTION"
Unity Church of South Bay's Internet Ministry team has launched a new "Activities and Events" notification service for members and guests.
The new system, which is "opt-in" permission based, requires recipients to confirm their subscription before any electronic mail is sent by the church.
Privacy is assured as the church email list will never be shared with third parties, or used for commercial purposes. (Members can also unsubscribe at any time using the immediate list removal link provided at the bottom of every message.)
Planned for the near future is electronic delivery (in PDF format) of the "Unity CommUnity Newsletter."
Members and guests can subscribe to the service now by clicking on the link below, writing SUBSCRIBE in the subject line, and including their first and last names in the body of the email.

Whether you're home with the flu or traveling to the remote corners of the earth, now you can get your "Trish fix" and a little touch of our warm spiritual home as well. Just log on, click on "services" and select "Church At Home" on the navigation bar.
You can relax into a soothing meditation, enjoy a spirited rendition of "To God Be The Glory" performed with by our own Kim Wendorff, and enjoy Trish's weekly message (as well as four other recent favorites). The messages can be "streamed" or downloaded and played over as often as you like. Both PC and MAC computers are supported.
To access the Sunday messages click on "Services" on the navigation bar to your left, then look below the bar for the underlined link "Church At Home".

We've received several requests for a recording of the wonderful virtuoso solo performance of "To God Be The Glory" by our resident artiste Kim Wendorff at the new home consecration service. Kim's spectacular delivery struck a chord in our hearts, and set the perfect tone for the dedication service that followed .
